For this beautiful lady I started off with a curly cut to add some volume and definition.
Then we did natural highlights to accentuate her base color, and of course followed that with a Olaplex bond treatment to prevent any future damage, and repair/strengthen her ends💕

It’s crazy how each individual’s hair reacts to the color we apply. Today, Jordana, one of my favorite returning clients wanted another color addition to her already colorful hair history! She’s not afraid to try new colors, (we’ve done it all) so we decided on a beautiful poppy red.
Although it’s ‘poppy red’ our canvas was previously lightened and had remnants of a faded green. We decided to head in the opposite direction for some bright warmth. Application of this bright red color versus results can be surprisingly different. It’s best to test on a small section of hair and go from there. This will last in Jordana’s a hair for about 5 shampoos. (And then we will play with a different color!)

Because of past experiences this client was weary about cutting her hair again; but she still wanted to give me a chance and ended up coming to the salon.
Because her curls are so tight, and still recovering from damage we didn’t need to take much off.
I took each strand individually and snipped what needed to be cut. It was a lengthy process, but the best thing for her hair.
Afterwards, I did a tea tree cleanse on her scalp to promote blood flow and growth.

Adding a touch a blonde is all you need sometimes☀️
This lovely lady wanted some extra blonde all over for a pop of brightness to her face to reflect her personality.
The results were some fun, flirty, beach waves. I bumped her base color to just barely lighten it and toned it with a light golden-true blonde.
Of course after any coloring treatments you want a mask or treatment to replenish any damage and prevent dryness. So she did an hour Olaplex treatment and her waves came out looking gorgeous.

Trained in Los Angeles since 2013, Breanna Stein moved to Tel Aviv, the curly capital of the world, in 2018.
